Reverend Howard Edwards
Lead Pastor
My overall mission is to empower the church and the community through love, service, transformation, and strong leadership."
Vision & Mission
Vision
My vision arises from my understanding of what the sovereign God purposes to do for His church.
The Great Commission remains our mandate from Christ. (Matthew 28:19–20)
The Church of God is to be:
A movement committed to the authority of Holy Scripture for faith and direction.
A fellowship whose worship brings God's power into the life of the church and extends that power into the community and the wider world.
A body that is directed by the Spirit, fully understanding that baptism in the Holy Spirit is both a personal blessing and a divine empowerment for witness and service.
A people who hunger for God, experience His presence, and stand in awe of His holiness through a life focused on His Word.
A church that nurtures its members, encouraging them to grow in ministry and use their spiritual gifts.
A church that opposes discrimination and affirms the dignity of every individual.
A movement that shows compassion to the hurting, widowed, homeless, and lonely through evangelism, discipleship, and care.
A church that encourages prayer, leadership development, church planting, and lifelong learning.
A movement that remains relevant to every generation, while staying rooted in biblical truth.
